All the kids are taking piano lessons...STILL in Stockton's case. At the Poole Piano Studio, they are required to participate in festival. This is the first time for any of them to participate but because we were going to be out of town the weekend it actually took place, Suzanne hired the judges to come on the Monday before we left and there were a few other students who were there also. They had to take tests, ear training, theory and then perform their 2 piano pieces for the judges and they were scored. Brad and I were there to cheer them on. Sara is LOVING piano, Grace not so much and Stockton hates to take lessons, and each did according to their liking...Sara did great, she practiced for months and she was confident and she didn't make any mistakes, Grace did well, she learned her one piece the week before and was very nervous, and Stockton did great on 1 piece and choked on the other....so here we go again. But he does so well, every week Suzanne is amazed at how quickly he learns and how well he does when he actually practices...what a shame, but he HAS to stick it out because I happen to be the worst mother in the world!
