Anderson/Gunnarson Reunion

For the past few years we have had an Anderson/Gunnarson family reunion over Memorial Day weekend. Growing up my parents were divorced and my step sister's would come to our house and stay every other weekend so they were at our house a lot and when I would go stay with my dad, holidays and summers often those step siblings were at their own fathers house, so I was never as close to them as I was Scott's girls. And we don't see them very often, so it is always good to get together and have the kids get to know each other. They are a lot of fun and Saturday we went to the park and played then went to Dad and Alaina's and had a bbq and then on Sunday we had a 30th anniversary surprise dinner for them at our house. We all made our own kabobs and the kids played and we all visited and then Monday we went to the pool. We would have done more activities outside but of course the weather was crappy! It was a fun weekend!

CHS Soccer

Stockton got punched in the nose the first week, by his own goalie and he had to have surgery so this was the award the seniors gave to him - Best Nose Job!

I am sure Stockton gets sick of me taking pictures EVERYWHERE we go, but he is always a good sport!

Stockton played high school soccer. He has played soccer his whole life - I think! He played club soccer for so many years and won every tournament they went to...and this year playing high school soccer was a whole new deaL! WOW...some of the boys had never played on a competitve level and some probably had never played...haha. So needless to say, they were not very good BUT I loved the coach, he really wanted the boys to do well in school and each month they did service as a team. He is trying to teach them life lessons. I am excited to see if they improve over the next few years but either way it was great to letter in another sport as a sophomore and he met some great new friends!

Race for the Cure

I have always wanted to do the 5K - Race for the Cure. It is always the Saturday before Mother's Day and this year, I donated to a friends team, Cindy Contos and the girls and I went down to the event. It was so touching to see all of the participants for either breast cancer survivors or families to walk/run in honor of loved ones who lost their fight. There were so many people and some dressed up crazy and it was a lot of fun. Sara complained the whole day that she had walked the 3 miles...she cracks me up!
