SPRING BREAK!

Stockton had the whole week off school, but nobody else did, including me. College spring break was in March (yes, I am still getting an A), the girls are in year round school, so they did get an Easter break for just a few days. But Stockton, he had a great time off. It started with Josh's party on Friday and it pretty much never stopped. He saw 2 movies, snowboarding with Ryker, went golfing with Brock, played 2 basketball games, had soccer practice, went to Flow rider (an indoor surf place), and had friends over just about every night, one night it was until 1:00AM (go home boys), but when I asked him to go with the girls to go swimming, he wouldn't go! Imagine that, so I have no pictures of Stockton and his break, but I do have some pictures of the girls, (they still want to be with me) On Thursday, Lori and I took the little ones to the Clearfield Aquatic center to swim. They had so much fun. Then Friday I took the girls and Brinley to see HANNAH MONTANA movie! It was so much better than I thought it would be. Steve was out of town and Brad works such long hours, we spend so much time together. Going to eat, picking prom dresses, swimming, movies...it doesn't get better than that!!

Lyndsie Goes to Prom...

I love my neighbor girls. And so do the boys at CHS! Lyndsie turned 16 this year, not only can she DRIVE but now she can DATE. Its great to see these kids turn into adults before your eyes! When I moved here she was in preschool, where did the time go. Lyndsie had 4 boys ask her to the Prom within minutes of each other (technically 3). The first and lucky one called Lori and asked if she had been asked yet and Lori told him, she had not, so he said he would be there in 20 minutes... before #1 got there...there was a knock at the door and Syd answered and it was cover in Starburst and someone (#2) other than #1 had asked her...So then she text the boy (#3)who had been hanging around and told him and he said he was going to ask her this weekend!! So she had to go to #2's house and tell him that she was going to go with#1 and he said that was ok but he heard that someone #4 else was going to ask her and he wanted to do it FIRST!! Long story but so funny. I went with Lori and Lyndsie to pick out her dress so when she went for the fitting...I was so there! SO this is Lyndsie dress for PROM, she will be BEAUTIFUL!!

Brad's a HERO!!

We were on our way to Madbrook's with Lori and the kids and we were on Bluffridge Dr. We saw a baby, about 15 months old, she could walk and she was walking on the rocks right next to the road and she had on no shoes and she was wobbly when walking. We past and we couldn't see anyone with the baby. So we were all freaking out and we pulled over and watched for a minute, then Lori flipped around and still NO body was out looking for the baby or in sight. We were trying to figure out what to do and nobody wanted to go to any nearby houses, so Brad was saying, "I'll go to the door." So he jumps out of the back seat and went to a near by house and knocked, the mom came running out. She went right past Brad, never saying a word. Lori and I was talking to her. Brad just got in the back seat. She was frantic. Her kids were in the back yard and the baby escaped without them knowing.
So later that night Angie came over to visit for a minute...and the first thing Brad said to her was, "Angie, I saved a baby's life tonight." Lori and I started laughing and then we told her the story. Brad just wanted a little "props". So here's to Brad and he did save a baby's life today!! I love you and you make me laugh and I am giving you credit for all the things you do everyday to be a HERO! MY HERO!

I broke down

I get totally grieved on about my factory tires. But believe it or not..I am cheap. I wasn't going to spend money on rims, (when there is many other way to spent Brad's hard earned money!) Well, our tires were bald, and we had to buy new tires, so I guess instead of a romantic get away for our anniversary, we bought new tires and rims. I look so pimp NOW! (Now everyone...off my case). Stockton thought spinners would have been better. NOT!!

I HATE THIS....

Oh my heck... I hate it when my kids friends move away :( especially when they are straight A students, have everything in common and they are good, GOOD kids, like JOSH.
Josh A. has been such a great friend for Stockton, they were both on the school basketball team last year and they became friends. But this year, even before the basketball season, they have become best buddies. They have spend EVERY weekend together, (except when one of them was out of town) they go golfing, to the community center, movies, doing nothing...just hanging out and anything else they can think of... they really have been best buddies. But Josh's dad bought some businesses in St. George so he is moving to be close to his work. They wanted to have a party and they couldn't come up with somewhere to go so...I offered our house. They had a ton of kids coming and going all night. They had pizza, chips, treats, and pop. About 8 of the boys ended up staying over, Brad said it technically wasn't asleep over because they didn't stop talking and giggling until 4:30 AM!!!! (I didn't know boys did that).. He came up the very next weekend and still hung out, so at least they will remain friends!! Look at all of those kids, they are all just GREAT kids, so Stockton will be just fine, but he is very sad he is going.

Out to Celebrate!

When I moved to my home 11 years ago, I never dreamed I would meet some of the best friends EVER! But I am so lucky, and some of my best friends live right by me! We celebrate each of our birthdays together. We all go in on a fun gift and we go eat, of course. We used to go to lunch but now life is changing and so many are working, so we made it a dinner date. Lynette and Jill have the same birthday, they are the same age too! So we went to eat, and it was so fun. We laughed until I almost peed my pants. (I was a big girl and didn't though) We don't see each other as much as we used to, because not all of us are in the same ward now, but I hope this tradition never stops. They are great ladies and we have a blast together! Happy Birthday Lynette and Jill!!

The LOVE of my LIFE

Ahhh today is my 18th wedding anniversary. We got married 3/30/1991, it was a Saturday and it was cold but a beautful sunny day! I tried to add an engagement picture and a wedding picture, they are tiny, I don't know how to make them bigger?? When Brad and I started to "like" each other back in 1986, I wasn't quite 16 yet. At that time, I thought he was just my boyfriend and NEVER dreamed it would last even until the end of the school year. Then he graduated, and I thought we wouldn't last through my senior year, then I went to BYU and thought we wouldn't last. But LUCKY for me, it has lasted and lasted and lasted! I am seriously the most BLESSED person in the entire world. I love Brad more and more every day! He is so kind, and he is such a great example to his kids of what a father and a husband should be. I tell my girls, that they need to find a husband that is as nice to them as their dad is to me (I hope there are boys out there like Brad), I tell Stockton, that he has a perfect example of how a husband treats his wife. Brad is so sweet, loving, he does acts of kindness and service daily for me. An example of his thoughtfulness is the other day I was trying to find my keys, to go to the church and I was looking for them and Brad said, "Your car is running and warm for you." He had started my car and turned on the seat warmer for me, it was simple but sweet. He does things like that every day! I can't even express my graditute for him. I am thankful to his parents, Jack and Judy for raising such a GREAT man. We have been through many trails together but every one of them have brought us closer together. I am so grateful he is mine for eternity! I love, love, love, love you!

We are the Champions!

Stockton and his jr. high team (plus Bronson) has been in a comp league at The Gym. They have beat every team and they have had a lot of fun playing. It wasn't very competitive, but they had a good time. They played the final game tonight, but some of the guys were at a baseball tournament in St. George. We recuited Davis Seaman to come. Stockton had pneumonia, but they WON. It was fun for them. They played with just 5 boys.

DANCE PICTURES

The girls had their pictures taken for dance today. It is such a production to get them beautiful, but it is sooo FUN. I put Sara's hair in hotsticks and when I took it out....WOW it was so curly, we laughed it was funny...but it really needed to be fixed! I have the best neighbor, Lori, she came and helped do hair, while I did make-up! (Secretly, I know Lori misses Dance! LOL) Here they are getting ready to go! Aren't they GORGEOUS!! They always are!

Loving off Track....

The girls are off track. We try to stay busy and entertained. They love to sleep in, lay around watching tv, playing video games, playing with friends and going to fun things. Some of the fun things....we saw the JONAS BROS MOVIE in 3-D, bowling with mom, we went to Chucky E. Cheese with The Adams' and The Sill's, Classic Skating and the Planetarium! We love to go to lunch and we have gone with Great Grandma Ethel and Grandma DaNece. Anything fun...count us in we LOVE it. Unfortunately, Sara got pneumonia the last week off track. She missed out on the Planetarium, she stayed home and Daddy took good care of her :(

I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE, I'M GOING THERE SOMEDAY.....

We had the BEST experience. We took the opportunity to go to the Draper Temple open house. It so PERFECT! It was so neat to walk through with my kids. Brad and I took the time to explain some of the things that happen there, we bore our testimonies to them about things of the temple and how much we loved it. I loved to watch their sweet, innocent faces be so excited, ask questions and want to learn more. I am so grateful we took the opportunity to go. We had to miss things and cancel other things but it was so worth it. I cannot wait until all of us are in the temple together again. It is truly the only wish I have in life, (that my kids will all make the choices in life that will enable them to be worthy and they will have the desire to go there). We went at 4:20 so after we had to go and get some good food. So we went to the Cheesecake Factory. It was so good. We had a great time being together, sharing special moments, eating and enjoying each other's company. It was Priceless.

Arts and Crafts

We had Stake Conference and it was late in the afternoon, so the girls past the time by doing crafts, Pixos and iron beads. Well they left out the mess (of course) and Stockton got home from his youth meeting and had an hour while we were rushing to get ready (yeah it was 2:00 PM) for the 3 o'clock session, Stockton was really bored because he sat down and made a design, I think he even had a good time doing it!! (The only reason he was bored was because we don't allow the TV to be turned on until AFTER church on Sundays, otherwise, that's is where he would have been).

Basketball

Well it has been slow in the basketball season for Stockton. In years past he has played at least a couple of nights per week, and this year he is playing but just one night. It has been fun for him. He has played with the boys from the jr. high team plus we had Bronson come. They have won every game and very easily. Its been fun but hasn't been very challenging for them. So on an occasion when Bracken's team is short, he will call for Stockton to help out and that it also fun for him. He loves to play. He is in a weird stage and hasn't played as well as in years past...so we will see what happens.

Getting All Dolled UP

The girls are off track so we try to keep ourselves entertained and busy. Sara went to a friends and Grace and I went to pamper ourselves a little. We had fun. I got my nails done (I love nails, I took them off for about 3 years) and now they are back on. I LOVE THEM! Grace got a pedicure. She loved it. I think it made her feel special. They were really slow so they spent extra time with her and really treated her well. This was her first time going and having someone do her pedicure (besides me). It was so fun to watch her face, it brought me a lot of joy to watch her. The pictures aren't the best because it was just my phone and she was on the other side of the room. I love spending time with each one and doing something different. I LOVE YOU GRACE!!
